Bob Christensen,
President of Roads2.Com, was born and raised in the Northwest region of the
United States. The love of mountains, passion for experiencing different
cultures, and travel have always been part of his life. Bob was an avid
rock climber in his early years, and loves to sail.
Bob traveled throughout the United States, Europe,
Canada, Mexico and has worked extensively in both North and South Asia.
His professional endeavors have always involved the global telecommunications
industry. Bob has a Master's degree in Urban Information Systems from the
University of Washington, Seattle.

SungHye was born in Korea, and lives in Seoul. Her 2
young daughters keep both herself and husband very busy.
SungHye
graduated from the University in Seoul and majored in computer
science. She has worked in the IT/telecom industry for over 13
years as a software developer. She has extensive travel to several
different countries including the USA, Japan, Singapore, Mexico, Hong Kong,
Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia. She has always found herself fascinated and
motivated when experiencing different cultures.
When SungHye is
not working, she enjoys swimming and farmwork. Her favorite places to
visit are Singapore and Japan. Beyond Korean and English, she speaks
Japanese and French.

the local students eating Bindaedduck rice cake and drinking Makkulli rice

..... what a market to shop ..... Namdaemun market has
everything ..... just sitting and watching the business culture was a different
experience from Kansas .....
..... one of Tom's favorite sights was visiting the DMZ
..... his uncle had experienced the Korean War ..... a time to reflect on the
past .....
..... our favorite lunch in Korea was Bibimbob ..... our
favorite evening bbq was Bulgogi ..... and we loved the famous kimchi with
30 different kinds depending on location and season .....
..... Mary liked Jeju Island the best ..... Seongsan
Sunrise Peak ..... Cheonjiyeon Falls ..... Bijarim Forest, and Hallasan
Park with the highest mountain in Korea ......
....hundreds of paths to
follow..... Namsan, a mountain ..... royal tombs, pagodas, rock-cut figures,
pavillions and the remains of fortresses, temples and palaces.... one of the
most rewarding areas to explore on this tour......
.... for Todd and I it
was a simple walk, in just 30 minutes walking down the small winding street from
the Hyatt hotel to Itaewon we found local life.....here and there ......
everywhere.....and many smiling faces.....
